Terms of use

This is an English translation provided for convenience. The French version is the reference text and prevails in the event of any difference.

Template document, to be reviewed by a lawyer before publication. Items in square brackets are to be completed by the publisher.

These terms set out the rules for using Gradia: what the platform offers you, what is expected of every user, and the framework in which the service is provided.

1. Purpose

These terms of use (the “Terms”) govern access to and use of the Gradia platform, available at gradia.network (the “Platform”), published by the Gradia team (the “Publisher”). The Publisher's identification details are provided on request through the Platform's Contact page.

Gradia is a preparation service for university exams and competitive entrance exams: past papers and their corrections, exercises and revision, explanations generated by artificial intelligence, planning and community tools.

2. Acceptance of the Terms

Creating an account means full acceptance of these Terms and of the privacy policy. If you do not accept them, you must not use the Platform.

The Publisher may change the Terms. The applicable version is the one online at the time of use; in the event of a substantial change, users are informed in advance by appropriate means.

This English text is a translation provided for convenience; in the event of any difference, the French version prevails.

3. User account

Registration requires accurate, up-to-date information, including your course (university, programme, semester) or the competitive exam you are preparing for: the trial and the plans are opened on that basis. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for any activity carried out from your account.

An account is personal and may not be shared or transferred.

Minors must have the consent of their legal representative.

4. Trial, plans and payment

  • Free trial: at the end of registration, a 3-day trial opens automatically, with no means of payment. It is granted only once per person (the same e-mail address or phone number cannot obtain a second one). Its content and features are limited, as shown on the Platform.
  • There is no permanent free plan: after the trial, access to the content requires a paid plan.
  • Plans: the price, duration and scope of each plan (semester, year, full programme, competitive exam) are shown before ordering. The scope is fixed when the order is placed. You may hold several plans at the same time, for example for two different semesters.
  • Payment: by bank transfer or deposit, using the means shown when ordering. You send proof of payment; access opens once the Gradia team has verified and confirmed the payment. Gradia collects no bank card data.
  • Complimentary access: the Publisher may grant access without payment (for example under a partnership or a scholarship). It is recorded as such and involves no payment.
  • Refunds: a refund request can be made from the “My subscription” area, for a confirmed payment and one open request per payment at a time. Each request is reviewed by the Gradia team; a refusal states its reasons, and a refund can never exceed the amount paid. A full refund ends the access it concerned. Moroccan law no. 31-08 on consumer protection applies under the conditions it lays down.

5. Content and intellectual property

The Platform, its brand, its visual identity, its software and the content produced by the Publisher are protected by intellectual property law, in particular law no. 2-00 on copyright and related rights. Any unauthorised reproduction or distribution is prohibited.

Exam papers are made available for educational purposes.

You remain the owner of the content you publish (questions, answers, notes). You grant the Publisher a free, non-exclusive licence to host and display it as part of the service.

6. Reporting content or an infringement of rights

Anyone who considers that content on the Platform infringes their rights (copyright, image, privacy) or is unlawful may report it through the Platform's Contact page. The report states:

  • the identity and contact details of its author;
  • the content concerned (address of the page, or a description allowing it to be found);
  • the work or right concerned and the capacity of the person reporting (rights holder or representative);
  • the reasons why the content is disputed.

The content is reviewed and may be hidden during the review. If it infringes the rights invoked, it is removed and the person who published it is informed; the decision is communicated to the author of the report. A manifestly abusive report may be dismissed. Reports are handled as promptly as possible.

Students can also report a mistake or inappropriate content directly from the Platform.

7. Artificial intelligence and code execution

Some features (explanations, revision plans, study sheets, indicative assessment of an answer) are generated by artificial intelligence. They are a learning aid and may contain errors: they replace neither teaching nor official corrections. Official exam marks do not depend on an AI assessment.

AI usage quotas depend on the current plan or trial.

Code you submit in programming exercises is run in an isolated environment, on Gradia's infrastructure, solely to test it.

8. Rules of conduct

By using the Platform, you agree in particular not to:

  • publish unlawful, abusive or discriminatory content, or content that infringes the privacy of others;
  • attempt to bypass security or access measures, or to extract content in bulk;
  • use the Platform to cheat in an official exam;
  • share your account or resell access to the service.

Reported content is moderated. A breach may lead to removal of the content, or suspension or closure of the account.

9. Availability and liability

The Publisher uses reasonable means to ensure access to the Platform, without any guarantee of permanent availability. Interruptions may occur for maintenance; they are announced where possible.

Gradia is a revision tool: the Publisher guarantees no result in exams or competitive exams.

10. Termination and account deletion

You can delete your account at any time from the “Security” area. Deletion leads to the anonymisation or erasure of your data under the conditions described in the privacy policy.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Moroccan law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will first be sought through the Contact page. Failing that, the dispute is brought before the competent Moroccan courts, subject to the mandatory rules applicable to consumers.

12. Contact

For any question about these Terms: the Platform's Contact page.
